 I. THÔNG TIN CHUNG VỀ TRƯỜNG

II. THẾ MẠNH:

• Môi trường học tập lý tưởng: nằm trong một thành phố sạch và an toàn của vịnh Corio, thành phố Geelong với diện tích 52 ha- gồm vườn trường, lớp học, khu thể thao, vui chơi, căng tin và các cơ sở khác;
• Đào tạo các chương trình từ mẫu giáo, tiểu học tới lớp 12, đa phần là sinh viên bản địa, với các lớp học nhỏ, khoảng 17 – 20 học sinh/ lớp;
• Có chương trình tiếng Anh đặc biệt dành cho sinh viên quốc tế. Ngoài ra, trường còn đào tạo chương trình Tú tài quốc tế (IB) và Chứng nhận giáo dục bang Victoria cho học sinh lớp 11 và 12;
• Là lựa chọn lý tưởng cho học sinh muốn nhập học các trường đại học TOP tai Úc và trên thế giới;
• Nhiều sinh viên Việt Nam tốt nghiệp xuất sắc, theo học lên các trường đại học TOP tại Úc. Năm 2011, 4 học sinh Việt Nam của trường đat điểm thi lần lượt là: 99.65/ 100- 99.4/ 100- 99.3/ 100 và 93.5/ 100, trong đó, em Phạm Hồng Trang từ Hà Nội đạt 99.65/ 100.
• Dịch vụ chăm sóc sinh viên quốc tế chu đáo, tuyệt vời bởi các nhân viên trường và các gia chủ người bản địa.

I. GENERAL ABOUT SCHOOL:

Kardinia International College has education for both boys and girls from 3 years old to 18 years old. It offers high quality education to students from all parts of the world. We prepare our students for entry to University. Oursuccess rate for entry to University each year has been generally 100%. Over 30% of our students have succeeded in reaching the top 10% of student results in Victoria. Although the College is fairly new, (it began in 1996) it is situated on the site, which already contained many excellent facilities where Morongo Girls College existed for 70 years. The College’s motto is ‘Wisdom Leads to Respect and Friendship’. We encourage friendship between many varied nationalities and respect for different customs, cultures and religions.

The school day begins at 9.00am and finishes at 3.20pm, Monday to Friday. Our students wear a school uniform to school.

III. TRAINING PROGRAMS:

Often people in the Geelong region imagine that there are a lot of overseas students at Kardinia because it is an ‘international’ College. This is actually not so. Of the 1800 students at Kardinia only 60 are from overseas, the vast majority are local students.  At Kardinia we have a very different view on internationalism – we regard all 1800 students as international students – our whole approach and curriculum is designed to produce students who will graduate as global citizens and who can be leaders in our world.

Kardinia teaches the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme in the Kindergarten, Preschool and Junior School. Years 7-10 have a vertical curriculum which leads to either the Victorian Certificate of Education or the International Baccalaureate Diploma for Years 11 and 12.
